STEP 1 : In a visible area post the following documents on a bulletin board…
STEP 2 : Post the “Health & Safety at Work – Prevention Starts Here” poster on your safety board
STEP 3 : Train workers and supervisors in basic Health and Safety awareness
STEP 4 : Post the WSIB’s “In Case of Injury at Work” poster on your safety board
STEP 5 : Post the “Occupational Health and Safety” Booklet (green book) in your workplace
STEP 6 : Develop and/or post a “Violence Policy” in your workplace (Bill 168)
STEP 7 : Develop and/or post a “Harassment Policy” in your workplace (Bill 168)
STEP 8 : Develop and post a “Health and Safety Policy” in your workplace (Employers with 6+ employees)
STEP 9 : Elect a Health and Safety Representative for your workplace (20+ employees need a joint committee)
STEP 10a : Buy and keep a “First Aid Kit” fully stocked and have at least one certified worker on staff at all times
